travis' brain dump

so today hasn’t been too bad. I got up this morning around 8:45,  took arwen to daycare around 9:45 and proceeded to get some errands done… so nice to get some things done. I got my pool cue dropped off for repair – so i’ll pick that up tomorrow. 😀  The only frustrating thing today… I can’t find a single 10lb bottle of CO2 Nitrogen mix out there… However, I’m contemplating picking up a 20lb bottle… *grin* sucky part is it’s a $130 once all is said and done since I have to put down a deposit on a 20lb tank… It’s tempting, so i’ll have to see. 😀 hmmm i must consult with Andy.

Aside from that, I’ve been slacking today and it’s felt nice. Hopefully the weekend will be good. Oooh, shout out to Kate and Sharon for coming up last night, it was good to see you both and glad you guys finally got to meet. Now you can put a faces to the names – hehe. Don’t be a stranger Kate!!! Also was good to see Mike and Alyse again … not forgetting you guys! Thursday turned out to be one of the best days of the week…

today i am tired and frustrated. im so glad i don’t have work tomorrow …

i did however finish the main structure for that billing system since we got the authentication stuff for the billing gateway monday. with my mind the way it’s been all week it’s a wonder i completed it at all. i can’t believe it took me three days to do something that should have taken me six hours. i’m so irritated with myself right now, i’ve never lost focus this badly.

*sigh*

whatever. at least i don’t have to worry about this project anymore and i’ve got a three day weekend. just mop-up and asthetics on monday with it for final release. hopefully by then my head will be straight and i can friggin focus … i dunno…

i really need to say thanks to andy, mike, kate, rachel, ryan and alyse for keeping me somewhat sane and grounded this week. you guys rock, i owe you so much for butting in and being there for me. 🙂

that about sums up my day so far… i feel like i’ve been staring straight through my monitor all morning. i really wish i’d been able to sleep last night, but hey – i finished watching sg-1 season nine. heh, despite the fact i wasn’t really paying too much attention to it.

thanks to the few of you  who dropped me notes today, the advice you passed along and the threats of flying out to smack me around some. you’re right… you all made some very valid points and i thank you. hopefully it will help…

i’m debating going home early… however – i’m debating just taking some time off… i need to finish some things however if i want to do that. i feel directionless today.

so yeah… i think i’ll bust out this stuff then sit here looking busy the rest of the day… or something.
