Yeah I just have a problem with a company that has poor practices to begin with and gets themselves into the position in the first place. *shrug* I dunno... I have a grudge still, lol.

Oh - and just in case anyone dropping in to read comments thinks I drink the AIG Kool Aid or have a vested interest in them - I don't. I personally believe they, and all other corporate entities in financial trouble, should be allowed to fail if that is what they are honestly about to do. Businesses fail all the time and there are always new and better businesses rising up to take their place. It's called the Joy of Capitalism. Embrace it.

You can't really blame them - the proper folks to blame are those in the Senate and House who removed the constraints keeping AIG from using the funds for bonuses and our esteemed POTUS who signed the bill through. That's what I really find hilarious - how he can go on TV and act all outraged over the bonuses when he's the damned fool idiot who put the official stamp of approval on the deal. Guess we now know that the man can read a prompter but cannot read a bill. Time for a new flavor of Kool Aid!!!

However, you gotta give props to AIG's acting CEO (who is working for the princely sum of a dollar a year BTW) for asking his folks to return at least half of those bonuses. Several people have already returned 100% of their bonuses and look for more to give the money back just so they can fling the finger towards the kingdom of DC. Kudos to them.
