FYI - some of the current acronyms kids use these days.  Some are definitely new to me and some I actually find very disturbing. Figured this merited it’s own post seeing as how we were on the subject of Acronyms earlier. :)

Some commonly used Acronyms by kids on the net today:

ASL - Age/Sex/Location - been around since the dawn of the internet. LOL
MorF - Male or Female - you just added a letter to your typing when it is resolved with ASL easily.
SorG - Straight or Gay - Give me a break
MOOS - Member of Opposite Sex - what would you need to use that one for?!
LMIRL - Let’s Meet In Real Life - so you’re not in real life already?
ADR - Address - I remember when we used ADDR kids are so lazy these days, lol
WYCM - Will You Call Me - Ok, that’s a new one on me.
KFU - Kisses For You - And another
NALOPKT - Not A Lot Of People Know This - what are you lazy!? Just type that out!

POS - Parents Over Shoulder (I remember something different, I *must* be getting old)
PIR - Parents In Room
P911 - Parent Alert
PAW
- Parents Are Watching
PAL - Parents Are Listening
KPC
- Keeping Parents Clueless
TD2M
- Talk Dirty To Me
IWSN
- I Want Sex Now
NIFOC
- Nude In Front of Computer
GYPO
- Get Your Pants Off

For the record, I catch one of my kids using any of these P Acronyms or other devious ones like the ones listed above, I’ll disable their internet privleges permanently. There is NO REASON they should be having conversations which require the use of one of those.
